HellLP is Spivkurl's twelfth full length release, and is the culmination of fourteen months of composition and recording. Many of the instruments used in these recordings were designed and build by Spivkurl himself. All lyrics, songwriting and vocal recording were courtesy of Spivkurl. The album explores psychological trauma, domestic terrorism, naturalism, activism, psychedelia and the collective unconscious, the results of social media in our culture, and an examination of the infection of our culture by unknown influences with unknown motives. There is deep undercurrent of fear and anger, with a top note of hope and a call for change. Pain and pleasure in one. Meant to be felt as well as heard - Turn it UP!
